Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Nephrology Rounding and Resource Pool Registered Nurse for a Flexi Weekend Only Day shift in Charlottesville VA!

Hours: 4-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday only. Morning Hours.
The Nephrologist Rounding and Resource Pool Registered Nurse will be assisting with our Nephrology consults that are done through Telehealth on site and assisting with direct patient care within our resource pool. The Nephrology consults are primarily from 9am to 1pm daily but variation in start time to 7am should be expected in the case of low Nephrology census. When not working with the Nephrologist telehealth case cart this role will assist in bedside RN duties for admit discharge vitals or other hands-on needs of our resource pool units with direct patient care.
The Nursing Resource Pool at Sentara Martha Jefferson is hospital specific and includes floating to units with additional need due to either acuity or staffing. Primarily assigned to IMCU or Medical/Surgical units. This Central Float Pool is ideal for those who enjoy variety or are interested in learning new skills. Due to the advanced level of practice 2 years of acute care nursing experience is preferred.

Education
Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required)
Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN or MSN (Preferred)
Certification/Licensure
Registered nursing License (Required)
BLS required within 90 days of hire
ACLS within 1 year of hire (Required)
Experience
2 years of acute care (preferred)
Critical care experience (preferred)
Medical Surgical experience (preferred)
Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
Computer skills including Epic Zoom and Andor highly preferred
