Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The RN will coordinate total nursing care collaborate with interdisciplinary teams manage telemetry patients administer medications safely and provide patient/family education. Candidates must be comfortable floating between facilities as needed and have previous travel nursing experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
  • Previous Travel Nursing experience required
  • IV Therapy experience required
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide comprehensive patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Monitor and manage telemetry patients
  • Administer medications safely and accurately
  • Perform phlebotomy and IV therapy procedures
  • Manage patients with chest drainage devices
  • Care for post-operative and orthopedic patients
  • Provide effective patient and family education
  • Document patient care accurately within the EMR
  • Respond appropriately to emergency and urgent situations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Manage pain control and terminally ill patient care
  • Follow all facility policies procedures and best practice standards
