Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg/Telemetry / PCU
Permanent Opportunity
Location: Claremont New Hampshire
Shift: Nights
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Shift Length: 12 Hours
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-Call Requirement: None
Hourly Pay Range: $33.90 $45.25/hour (based on experience)
Annual Salary Range: $70512 $94120/year based on a 40-hour work week
Position Overview:
We currently hiring experienced Registered Nurses for a permanent full-time opportunity within the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role is best suited for a clinically strong RN with experience in Med Surg Telemetry PCU ICU and Emergency Department settings who can work independently in a rural critical access hospital environment.
As an RN in the inpatient unit you will provide comprehensive patient care through assessment planning implementation evaluation and documentation while utilizing strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. The patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care
- Monitor patients requiring telemetry and cardiac monitoring
- Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in patient care
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Provide compassionate care to patients across all age groups
- Function independently within a fast-paced rural hospital setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
- Minimum 2 years PCU experience required
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg experience required
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department (ED) experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Rural or small facility experience preferred but not required
- License Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN License OR Compact RN License required
- License must be active and in-hand at the time of submission
- Required Certifications
The following certifications are mandatory and must be active at the time of submission:
BLS (AHA)

PALS (AHA)
