Join a compassionate Oncology team where nursing is more than a jobits a meaningful partnership with patients throughout their cancer journey.Youll provide specialized care through chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration patient education telephone triage and comprehensive assessments while collaborating closely with providers navigators case managers social workers radiation oncology and palliative care teams. This role is ideal for nurses who excel at critical thinking multitasking and relationship-building and who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centered care during some of lifes most challenging moments.

How youll contribute

AnInfusion RNwho excels in this role:

• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and related medical care.
• Documents care provided in a timely accurate manner.
• Monitors records and communicates patient condition to the care team physicians patients and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene elimination nutrition ambulation).
• Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers discharges referrals psychosocial/spiritual support).
• Assesses learning needs; provides age- and culture-appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; works other shifts/units as needed and may take on-call assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors preferred).

Additional requirements include

• Basic Life SupportHealth Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)/Chemo (within 1 year)
