Registered Nurse (RN) in a Hospital Setting

Madison Regional Health System is seeking a part-time or full-time Registered Nurse to be a part of the Madison Regional Health System mission: Committed to providing quality healthcare close to home.

Our Registered Nurse is an essential part of our Medical team and is responsible for caring for patients of various ages: infant children adolescent adult and geriatric. Excellent customer service attention to detail great telephone etiquette computer knowledge and the ability to multi-task in pressure/stressful situations are essential. South Dakota RN license and CPR certification is required.

The working conditions will be in a clean well-lighted area with sitting standing walking bending stooping frequent repetitive motion of the hands/wrists involved. May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity. Exposure to infectious disease body fluids odors and dust. Will be working with a variety of medical equipment including but not limited to: defibrillator/cardioversion equipment suction equipment IV pumps chest tubes feeding pumps and portable cardiac monitors.

RN positions at Madison Regional Health System are flexible! We offer 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend. As part of a team we have a day night weekend holiday and call rotation to balance your home life. You will have a unique opportunity to build your skillset by working in various departments such as medical surgical and emergency room areas. Full and part-time positions are available.

Full-time positions come with Madison Regional Health Systems benefits package and a competitive salary. MRHS offers retention pay to individuals who have worked at the facility for greater than one year. Madison Regional Health System employees receive a discount at the on-site cafeteria. Shift differential occurs 6pm-6am Monday-Friday weekends and holidays.

Registered Nurse earning potential ranges from $30-$46 with competency incentives. May be eligible for sign-on bonus or tuition assistance.
