Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) HTP Pre-Op/PACU

Location: Hackensack New Jersey

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) HTP Pre-Op/PACU for a procedural services setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pre-operative care post-anesthesia recovery critical care and telemetry monitoring.

• Monday Friday
• 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• 40 Hours per Week
• No Weekends
• No Holidays

• Active New Jersey RN License or Multi-State Compact License
• ASN required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• PALS required
• Telemetry Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in:
  • Critical Care
  • Pre-Operative Nursing
  • PACU/Recovery Room Nursing
• Strong Telemetry background required

• BSN preferred
• 3 years of PACU experience preferred
• Interventional Radiology pre-op and recovery experience preferred

• Perform admission assessments and pre-procedure patient evaluations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and coordinate care with physicians and procedural teams.
• Start and maintain IV access.
• Provide post-procedure and post-anesthesia recovery care.
• Monitor patient status cardiac rhythms and recovery progress.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as ordered.
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures recovery and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with nursing and regulatory standards.
