Job Summary

Now Hiring Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Rotating Holidays

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital emergency department setting. The RN will assess plan implement and evaluate patient care while managing critical and complex cases.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel experience
Active Massachusetts RN License
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Strong IV therapy IV start ventilator care and telemetry monitoring skills
Ability to pass Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
TNCC Certification
ENPC Certification
PALS Certification
De-escalation Certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process
Assess patients physically psychologically and socially
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Perform IV insertion wound care and emergency interventions
Document patient care accurately and timely
Assist in discharge planning and patient education
Support and guide ancillary staff in patient care delivery
Function as charge nurse when required
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment
