Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room ERRN

Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Hyannis Massachusetts
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) 3x12 hours
Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend rotating holidays

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality fast-paced patient care in an acute care ED setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care for complex and critical patients.

• Provide direct emergency nursing care using the nursing process
• Perform patient assessment (physical psychological social)
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform IV insertion IV therapy and emergency interventions
• Provide ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Assist in discharge planning and patient education
• Support and guide ancillary staff
• Function as charge nurse when required
• Follow hospital safety infection control and clinical protocols

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum 2 years recent ER RN experience
• At least 1 year travel ER experience
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• BLS and ACLS (current)
• Strong IV start and IV therapy skills
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Ability to work in high-acuity emergency settings
• Strong English communication skills

• TNCC ENPC PALS
• De-escalation training
• Ventilator care experience
