The CardiovascularSurgical ICU(CVSICU)is a 18 bed unit that provides care for patients who are recovering from cardiac surgery cardiac transplantation lung transplantation the placement of ventricular assist devices and other complex procedures. Registered Nurses (RNs) receive patients directly from the operating room and manage their needs through their intensive care phase. It is a very fast paced unit driven through team work and collaboration within a highly competent multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible to this specialized patient population. Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Applicants with an Associates degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• RN work experience required; ICU or2 years of acute care experience preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
