Sentara is currently hiring an RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Cardiac Unit 2 West.

Hours/Shift:

Part-time nightshift. Approximately 7pm to 7am

Department/Position Overview:

2 West is a 34-bed medicine unit with a primary cardiac focus. Our team works with hospitalists and cardiologists to care for congestive heart failure angina STEMI/NSTEMI and arrhythmia patients. We admit patients who have just undergone cardiac catheterizations pacemaker insertions ablations and cardioversions.

Aside from the awesome care we provide we have an amazing and diverse team of nurses and patient care technicians. We are committed to excellent patient care and patient satisfaction. We work well together as a team to take care of our patients but also have fun and take care of each other. 2 West is a work of HEART and we would love for you to join our work family!

This positions primary duties include assessing/admitting patients rounding checks giving medications talking with family members and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Minimum Requirements:

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State Registered Nursing License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• RN-Diploma ASN BSN or MSN from an accredited school
