• Deliver skilled nursing care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing health evaluations.

• Administer medications treatments and injections as prescribed.

• Monitor patient health status and report changes to physicians and interdisciplinary team members.

• Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.

• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.

• Educate individuals families and direct support staff on health-related needs.

• Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations agency policies and nursing standards.

• Promote patient dignity independence and quality of life.

• Active unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.

• Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience preferred.

• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.

• Current BLS/CPR Certification.

• Excellent assessment communication and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Reliable transportation.
