Pay Rate: $45/hr $50/hr
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 36 hours/week
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 3 years PCU experience required

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Progressive Care Unit for a day shift opportunity in Great Falls Montana. This role is ideal for an RN with strong PCU/Step Down experience who can care for medically complex patients operate advanced equipment and support safe patient outcomes from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Progressive Care/Step Down and Med/Surg patients

• Monitor patients who are stable or predictably unstable

• Support care for cardiac respiratory renal surgical sepsis DKA DVT PE and post-procedure patients

• Manage patients with central lines chest tubes NG tubes arterial lines multiple IVs and short-term ventilatory support

• Interpret basic cardiac telemetry and EKG findings

• Administer and monitor IV medications such as Heparin Diltiazem Dobutamine Milrinone Amiodarone and Dopamine

• Collaborate with providers charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members

• Assist with clinical leadership staff direction precepting and discharge planning

Requirements

• Active Montana Registered Nurse license required

• Minimum 3 years PCU/Step Down nursing experience required

• BLS/BCLS required

• ACLS required

• PALS required

• EPNC and TNCC preferred

• Pediatric experience preferred

• Post-heart catheterization experience preferred

• Strong assessment telemetry IV medication and advanced equipment skills required

• Must be able to work day shift and holiday coverage as needed
