Registered Nurse (PRN)

We are currently seeking a compassionate organized and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis. The RN will oversee client care complete nursing assessments supervise aides and help ensure high-quality care for VA and Medicaid clients in a home care setting.

Responsibilities:

Complete nursing assessments reassessments observations and care planning documentation
Reassess VA clients every 60 days and/or as needed
Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs
Coordinate with management regarding quality client care and operational procedures
Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and caregivers
Respond professionally and promptly to client complaints regarding caregivers
Ensure patient rights are protected and upheld
Promote and reinforce safety procedures in the home environment
Maintain confidentiality and professional nursing standards

Qualifications:

• Current RN License required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Home care experience required
• Valid drivers license required
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance required.
• Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing
