Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Compensation: $2400 $2800 Weekly ($60 $70/hr based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Op / PACU CWRto provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care telemetry pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery experience. This role involves caring for patients throughout the procedural continuum including admission assessments IV placement procedure preparation recovery monitoring and discharge planning.

Patient Assessment & Care

• Perform comprehensive admission and ongoing patient assessments.
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions before and after procedures.
• Provide safe and effective recovery care following procedures and anesthesia.

Clinical Procedures

• Perform IV insertion and medication administration as ordered.
• Prepare patients for Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients during recovery and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.

Care Coordination

• Collaborate with physicians procedural teams and interdisciplinary healthcare staff.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and patient-centered care.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures recovery expectations and discharge instructions.

Quality & Compliance

• Adhere to patient safety standards regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional nursing standards.
• Ensure accurate electronic medical record documentation.

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Compact RN License.
• BLS (AHA) Certification.
• ACLS (AHA) Certification.
• PALS (AHA) Certification.
• Telemetry Certification.

Experience

• Minimum two (2) years of recent Critical Care Pre-Op PACU or Recovery Room experience.
• Strong Telemetry experience required.
• Experience with admission assessments IV placement and procedural recovery.
• Interventional Radiology pre-op and post-op experience highly preferred.
