Registered Nurse Practitioner (RN) La Jolla CA

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership support evidence-based practice initiatives and promote excellence in patient care. Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based nursing practices

  • Evaluate clinical processes and identify opportunities for quality improvement

  • Provide guidance education and mentorship to nursing staff

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes

  • Participate in clinical program development and performance improvement initiatives

  • Assist with staff education training and competency development

  • Analyze patient care practices and recommend process enhancements

  • Support research quality initiatives and organizational change efforts

  • Promote compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements

  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing teams and healthcare professionals

Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Previous nursing leadership education quality improvement or specialty practice experience preferred

  • Strong communication presentation and project management skills

  • Experience supporting evidence-based practice and clinical improvement initiatives preferred

  • Ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
