Pediatric 9 North Unit
Pediatric Cardiac & Transplant unit with Med/Surg overflow
Required: 2 years of nursing experience 2 years in Pediatric Medicine: experienced in Med Surg and IMC level BLS ventilator experience
AM & PM contracts available
Responsibilities
Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process policies procedures and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System.
Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality safety and excellence in care.
Working collaboratively with and providing leadership for a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality safety and excellence in care.
Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical financial operational) that supports protects and promotes area of specialty.
Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership.
Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
Required: RN License; BLS; EPIC; MUST have 2 years of experience of PEDs experience (MED SURG/ IMC)
Preferred: Travel experience; EPIC and PALS
Patient age range: newborns up to 22 years
Pediatric- IMC level RN to float down to Med-Surg units
36 or 48 hours/week
Every Other Weekend Call- 2 per schedule.
13-week long-term assignment
Rate: $65/hr
