Key Responsibilities
- Patient Monitoring & Care:Interpret telemetry manage vasoactive drips and handle complex devices like chest tubes and ventilators.
- Assessment & Action:Utilize clinical judgment to recognize patient deterioration and respond to evolving needs.
- Collaboration:Coordinate with physicians and the care team to implement document and update patient treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Licensure:Active VA or Compact RN license.
- Experience:12 years of recent acute care (PCU/ICU) experience.
- Certifications:BLS ACLS and NIHSS.
- Skills:Proficiency in arrhythmia recognition and high-turnover patient management.
- Preferred:BSN and PCCN certification.
