Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days in their PCU department. *New Hires eligible for a $2500 Sign on Bonus*

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment planning implementation evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services
Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical surgical or other condition including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs
PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

As a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health you will:

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical surgical or other condition
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Act as the patient advocate
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education/Degree Required:

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience:

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
