Job Summary
At HealthPartners every patient journey begins with timely coordinated care. As part of our Centralized Hospital Operations team the Patient Placement Registered Nurse plays a critical role in supporting efficient patient throughput andoptimalbedutilizationacross HealthPartners hospitals. This role ensurestimelyandappropriate patientplacement by coordinating with nursing units Administrative Nursing Supervisors House Charge Nurses and admitting departments. Thepatient placementregisterednurse leverages data-driven insights and communication tools tomaintainreal-time awareness of hospital capacityfacilitatingsmooth transitions ofcareandsupportingoperational excellence.
CHO brings together key clinical and patientlogisticsfunctions into a centralized model designed to support safe reliable patient care while improving operational efficiency and consistency across our hospitals.

Work Schedule: Per Diem as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing orAssociatedegree RN enrolled in abachelor of nursingprogram.
- Minimum of two (2) years in hospital operations patient flow or clinical coordination.
- CurrentRegistered Nurse license for & WIRegisteredNurse licensewithin 6 months of Minnesota and Wisconsinlicensemust bemaintained.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) asrequired.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and hospital information systems (Epic or similar).
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with emphasis on real-time issue resolution.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
