Registered Nurse (RN) PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)

Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) PACU to provide high-quality post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient assessment airway management pain control and post-operative recovery while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Perform comprehensive post-anesthesia patient assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Monitor airway status oxygenation and pain management needs.

• Maintain emergency readiness and ensure equipment functionality.

• Evaluate patients for discharge readiness and provide detailed handoff reports.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians patients families and care teams.

• Active Pennsylvania RN License.

• BLS ACLS and PALS certifications required.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

• Previous PACU and/or ICU experience preferred.

• Ability to participate in on-call rotations.

• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
