Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts with rotating evening and weekend call

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Glenwood Springs Colorado. This role supports post-anesthesia patient care and requires strong recovery room nursing skills clinical judgment and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical and clinical care teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to post-anesthesia and recovery patients.

• Assess monitor and document patient condition during recovery.

• Administer medications treatments and interventions as ordered.

• Monitor airway pain control vital signs and post-operative status.

• Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers nurses and clinical staff.

• Support safe patient transitions and continuity of care.

• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC.

• Participate in rotating evening and weekend call as assigned.

Requirements

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license required.

• Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required.

• BLS/BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

• PALS certification from the American Heart Association required.

• EPIC experience preferred.

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.

• Must meet 75-mile radius rule.

• Holiday coverage required.

• Required submission items include resume skills checklist AHA certification cards RN license verification and proof of 2025/2026 flu vaccine.
