About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse Inpatient Wound/Ostomy for a 13-week day shift assignment in State College PA. This role functions as a consultant to staff and patients for skin prevention wound care ostomy care and continence-related needs in an inpatient setting.
Responsibilities

Provide wound ostomy and continence nursing consultation.

Assess and support patients with skin wound ostomy and continence needs.

Collaborate with nursing staff physicians patients and families.

Support skin prevention and wound care best practices.

Educate staff and patients on wound and ostomy care plans.

Communicate professionally with all members of the care team.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC.

Function as a resource and liaison between patients and staff.
Requirements
-
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required.

Board certification in Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing required.

BLS required.

Completion of a registered nurse degree program required.

Minimum 3 years of full-time professional nursing experience with medical-surgical patients required.

Inpatient wound care and ostomy experience required.

EPIC experience preferred.

Strong communication professionalism clinical judgment and teamwork skills required.
