Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10-hour variable day shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports adult cardiovascular surgical cases in a 2-bed CTOR setting with 1:1 ratios and requires strong operating room skills flexibility and the ability to support call coverage as assigned.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adult cardiovascular operating room patients
Support CTOR procedures involving CAD AS MR and related cardiac surgical cases
Assist with perioperative care patient safety and intraoperative workflow
Use EPIC and Omnicell systems for documentation and medication support
Float as needed when census is low and support assigned call requirements
Requirements
active new york registered nurse license required
graduate of an accredited nursing program with associates degree required
minimum 1 year of cardiovascular operating room nursing experience required
bls and acls certifications required
must be available for 4x10 variable shifts and up to 7 call days per 4-week schedule including one full weekend
