Position: RN Operating Room (OR)
Location: Atlanta GA
Department: 841A Meridian Op Sur RN OR
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule:

Monday Friday
6:45 AM 5:15 PM
10-Hour Day Shifts
Guaranteed 40 Hours Per Week

Facility Overview:
This is a multispecialty outpatient surgery center specializing in:

Orthopedics
Plastics
Robotics
Gynecology (GYN)

The facility also offers extended recovery capabilities and provides a fast-paced collaborative surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care before during and after surgical procedures.
Prepare operating rooms equipment and supplies for surgery.
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures.
Monitor patient safety and advocate for patients throughout the surgical process.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterile technique standards.
Collaborate with physicians anesthesia providers and surgical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
Accurately document patient care and procedural information.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience.
Active RN License.
Current AHA BLS Certification (Required).
ACLS Certification (Preferred).
Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile techniques.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
