Position Title: Registered Nurse Oncology
Location: Gainesville GA 30501
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
Provide specialized oncology and infusion nursing care for patients receiving chemotherapy and cancer-related treatments in an outpatient setting.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum 2 years recent Oncology nursing experience required
• Chemo Certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Strong infusion and oncology patient care experience required
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work efficiently in outpatient oncology setting
• No local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities:

• Administer oncology and infusion treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patients during chemotherapy and infusion therapies
• Assess patient conditions and respond to treatment-related reactions
• Provide patient education regarding oncology treatments and medications
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and treatment records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with oncology safety and infection control standards
• Support patient care coordination and follow-up planning
