About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for an LDRP/OB night shift contract opportunity in Grants NM. This role supports Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum and newborn care while providing safe family-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to LDRP OB and postpartum patients

Support labor delivery recovery and newborn assessment needs

Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

Provide patient and family education with a culturally sensitive approach

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner

Collaborate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary care teams

Supervise ancillary staff as appropriate
-
Float to other departments as needed with proper orientation
Requirements
-
Active New Mexico Registered Nurse License or active Compact RN License required

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

LDRP OB or postpartum experience preferred

BLS certification required

NRP certification required
-
ACLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required

OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE required within 12 months

SAFER NM Technician certification preferred

Must be able to work rotating nights weekends and holidays as needed
