Schedule: 12-hour Rotating Night Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for an LDRP/OB night shift contract opportunity in Grants NM. This role supports Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum and newborn care while providing safe family-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to LDRP OB and postpartum patients

• Support labor delivery recovery and newborn assessment needs

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Provide patient and family education with a culturally sensitive approach

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner

• Collaborate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary care teams

• Supervise ancillary staff as appropriate

• Float to other departments as needed with proper orientation

Requirements

• Active New Mexico Registered Nurse License or active Compact RN License required

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required

• LDRP OB or postpartum experience preferred

• BLS certification required

• NRP certification required

• ACLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required

• OPS Emergency Workshop and STABLE required within 12 months

• SAFER NM Technician certification preferred

• Must be able to work rotating nights weekends and holidays as needed
