Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse No Weekends

As a Peritoneal Dialysis Registered Nurse (PD RN) youll educate patients and caregivers in-clinic enabling them to perform dialysis independently at home! This role blends clinical care patient education and case management.

Flexible Monday-Friday 8am-5pm type-of schedule. No Weekends No Holidays!

Will be covering census in one facility; but must be flexible to support in other surrounding home facility centers as needed including but not limited to: New London and Norwich. CT.

Excellent Paid Training Provided! Dialysis Experience is NOT required. Nephrology nursing provides a fresh lens and set of skills to those newly entering the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train patients and caregivers on PD procedures and self-care

• Manage a caseload of PD patients including assessments and care planning

• Monitor treatment progress conduct home visits and provide on-call support

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality outcomes

Schedule:

• MondayFriday 8-hour shifts

• Weekends and holidays off

• Flexible scheduling to manage your own caseload

Requirements:

• RN license in the state of practice

• Willing to obtain both CT and NY State license (we reimburse)

• Minimum of 12 months of RN experience

• Valid drivers license insurance and reliable transportation

• ADN required; BSN preferred

• Basic computer skills (MS Word Outlook)

Preferred Experience:

• Dialysis (PD HHD chronic or acute)

• Patient education or teaching background

• Case management or telehealth experience

• CNN or CDN certification
