Job Summary

Title: Registered Nurse Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Cleveland Ohio

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Rotating Day/Night Shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Registered Nurse Med/Surg Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. Candidates must have recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and be comfortable floating to similar units as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients

  • Perform patient assessments and monitor clinical conditions

  • Interpret and monitor cardiac rhythms

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation

  • Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

  • Follow hospital policies patient safety standards and infection control procedures

  • Float to comparable units when required to support patient care needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required

  • BLS Certification required

  • ACLS Certification required

  • NIHSS Certification required

  • Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience

  • Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in the specialty

  • Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work rotating day/night shifts as needed

  • Must work every other holiday

  • Successful completion of ECG Rhythm Recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation

  • Ability to float to similar patient care units when required
