Location: Utica New York
Pay Rate: $54 to $58/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Oncology Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports adult patients across oncology hematology nephrology endocrine GI dermatology and general medicine units.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for Med Surg oncology hematology nephrology endocrine GI and general medicine patients
Support care for patients with cancer diagnoses ESRD diabetes abdominal pain and related conditions
Manage patient care using IV pumps NG tubes chest tubes and specialty beds
Document patient care accurately using EPIC
Float as required and collaborate with the care team to support safe patient outcomes
Requirements
Active new york registered nurse license required
Minimum 2 years of med surg/oncology experience required
current aha bls nihss and chemo certification required
EPIC experience and previous travel experience required
updated resume med surg/oncology skills checklist drivers license NURSYS report all RN license verifications and RTO required at submission
