Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM; 3x12-hour shifts weekly
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 3 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Med Surg for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Arcata California. This role supports adult Med Surg patient care during night shifts and requires strong clinical judgment accurate documentation and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct Med Surg nursing care to adult patients
Assess monitor and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Administer medications IV therapy and nursing interventions per facility protocols
Collaborate with physicians nurses and care teams to support safe patient outcomes
Maintain infection control patient safety and professional nursing standards
Requirements
active california registered nurse license required
minimum 3 years of med surg nursing experience required
bls and acls certifications required
negative tb screen within 12 months of contract start required
must be available for night shift 3x12 schedule and holiday coverage
