Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Manager (RN) to provide leadership and operational oversight for a hospital Telemetry unit. This position supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality safe and effective patient care while maintaining operational excellence.

The RN Manager assumes 24/7 accountability for assigned patient care areas and plays a key role in staff development resource management clinical quality and nursing practice improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Telemetry unit
Support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in nursing operations and patient care initiatives
Assess plan coordinate implement and evaluate nursing practice within assigned areas
Ensure delivery of safe high-quality and patient-centered care
Manage staffing scheduling and resource utilization
Support staff competency development and performance improvement initiatives
Promote compliance with hospital policies regulatory requirements and quality standards
Serve as a professional nursing role model and advocate
Foster collaboration among interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Perform additional leadership duties as required


Qualifications

Required:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Associate degree or higher in Nursing
Minimum of 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting as a Nurse Manager Charge Nurse or similar leadership role
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated hospital operations and patient care management experience

Preferred:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Masters Degree in Nursing or related field
Additional leadership and management experience in acute care settings


Candidate Profile

2 years of management or charge nurse experience required
Management experience required
Minimum education: Bachelors Degree
Ability to travel occasionally as needed
