About the Role
We are seeking an LDRP Registered Nurse for a 13-week quick start contract opportunity in Grants New Mexico. This role supports labor delivery recovery postpartum and newborn care while providing safe compassionate patient- and family-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital standards and the New Mexico Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for labor delivery recovery postpartum and newborn patients
Assess patients develop care plans and respond appropriately to clinical changes
Support perinatal care labor support delivery assistance and newborn assessment
Educate patients and families with clear culturally sensitive communication
Document patient care accurately using Cerner and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
Active New Mexico RN License Or Compact RN License Required
Minimum 1 year of LDRP OB or postpartum nursing experience required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
NRP Certification Required
ACLS Intermediate Fetal Monitoring OPS Emergency Workshop And STABLE Certifications Required Or Required Within Facility Timeframe
