About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week rapid response contract opportunity in Laramie Wyoming. This role provides direct nursing care in the emergency department and requires strong ER experience clinical judgment patient education care coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for emergency department patients
Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care within RN scope of practice
Transcribe follow and implement physician orders and facility protocols
Educate patients and families based on clinical needs and care plans
Coordinate care with the healthcare team and delegate tasks to ancillary staff as appropriate
Requirements
Active Wyoming Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; strong ER experience required
BLSBCLS ACLS PALS NRP And ATT Certifications Required
TNCC de-escalation training procedural sedation module and QPR training required within facility timeframe
EPIC experience preferred; must be available for varied shifts and holiday coverage
