Pay Rate: $78/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 7 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Lamar Colorado. This role supports maternal and newborn care in a critical access hospital setting and requires strong OB experience clinical judgment patient education and the ability to provide safe care through labor delivery postpartum and newborn support.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to women during labor delivery postpartum and newborn care
Perform maternal and newborn assessments and monitor the labor process
Prepare for deliveries C-sections inductions and OB-related procedures
Administer IV medications provide patient education and offer emotional support
Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control sterile technique and OB department policies
Requirements
Active Colorado Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 7 years of RN experience required; Obstetrics/Labor and Delivery experience preferred
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program And ACLS Certifications Required Within Facility Timeframe
Must be available for night shift holiday coverage and possible rotation based on staffing and census needs
