$10000 Sign-On Bonus
Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Every 3rd weekend

Join our team as a nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit caring for antepartum intrapartum and postpartum mothers. BirthPlace in Moline is a Level II Plus Labor department and includes a six-bed triage eight labor deliver and recovery rooms two operating rooms 17-bed Mother/Baby Unit and a 10-bed Neonatal Special Care Unit. With approximately 450 deliveries per year supported by a Maternal Access Health Solutions model and midwifery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient and family needs provide education and coordinate referrals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients families and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Deliver safe high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process clinical expertise and evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor patient conditions apply critical thinking skills and make independent clinical judgments to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Accurately and promptly document patient assessments interventions and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Delegate and coordinate patient care activities while providing guidance and support to other healthcare team members.
  • Promote patient safety and education by utilizing age-appropriate teaching strategies preventing errors and infections and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
    • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must possess and maintain ACLS
