Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Glencoe MN
Shift: Night Shift 12-Hour Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glencoe Minnesota. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative critical access hospital environment while providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.

The ideal candidate will be confident in a fast-paced clinical setting and committed to patient-centered maternal care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care for antepartum intrapartum postpartum and newborn patients

  • Monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery

  • Administer medications IV therapies and treatments as prescribed

  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor delivery and emergency procedures

  • Assess patient conditions identify complications and respond appropriately

  • Educate patients and families on labor delivery recovery breastfeeding and newborn care

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

  • Ensure a safe compassionate and patient-focused environment

  • Follow hospital policies infection control standards and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Minimum 12 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred

  • Critical Access Hospital or travel nursing experience preferred

  • Current BLS ACLS and NRP certifications required

  • Strong fetal monitoring and emergency response skills preferred

  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic clinical setting

  • Strong communication teamwork and critical thinking skills
