About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week night-shift contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports a high-acuity ICU setting including Neuro/Medical ICU CTICU Surgical ICU and Trauma ICU patients.

Responsibilities

Provide critical care nursing for ICU SICU CTICU Trauma ICU Medical ICU and Neuro ICU patients
Manage high-acuity patients requiring CRRT Prismaflex vents IABP ventriculostomy ICP monitoring and Arctic Sun
Care for patients with stroke sepsis respiratory failure CHF post-STEMI cardiogenic shock trauma and major post-op needs
Document patient care accurately using EPIC
Float to other units as needed excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless holding

Requirements

active new york registered nurse license required
minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4 5 years preferred
current aha bls acls and nihss certifications required
CRRT and Prismaflex experience required; heart/CTICU experience highly preferred
travel experience EPIC experience skills checklist drivers license NURSYS report all active RN license verifications and RTO required at submission
