Schedule: Night shifts 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Total Working Hours: 36 Hours/Week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Herrin Illinois. This role supports inpatient rehabilitation patients including a high neuro population and requires strong clinical judgment patient assessment skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to inpatient rehab patients.

• Assess patients physical mental and spiritual care needs.

• Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans.

• Monitor patient condition and report clinical changes promptly.

• Provide patient and family education explanations and discharge support.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation using EPIC.

• Support Core Measure responsibilities and quality patient care standards.

• Contribute to a positive care environment through professional communication.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license required.

• BLS/BCLS certification required.

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.

• Inpatient rehab medical-surgical or neuro nursing experience preferred.

• Stroke certification preferred but not required.

• EPIC experience preferred.

• Night shift availability required.

• Every third weekend availability required.

• Strong assessment communication and clinical judgment skills required.
