Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in an autonomous manner by utilizing a systematic approach to nursing practice. This includes incorporating assessment planning nursing diagnosis implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act recognized professional standards and PHNS policy.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday Thursday Friday

  • 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Graduate from course of study in nursing resulting in a minimum of an associate degree/diploma in nursing.
    • One or more years experience infusion nursing
    • Role may require completion of the ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy course or equivalent 2-day course.
  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    • Must maintain a current state registered nurse license.
    • BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong clinical and human relations skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PHNS.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.
    • Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (depending upon area of specialty) Personal Computer Photocopier Printer and Telephone.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • NA
  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    • Preferred certification in oncology nursing.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Keyboarding skills preferred.
