The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. As Marylands only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure metabolic disorders seizure disorders multiorgan failure shock toxic ingestions and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Our surgical services encompass extensive general cardiac thoracic orthopedic and neurologic procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
- RN-Registered Nurse License (Required)
- CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
- Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
- 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
- Prior Pediatric Critical Care nursing experience (Preferred)
Salary Range: Minimum 53.07/hour - Maximum 53.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
