Cardiac catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure used to diagnose and treat congenital heart defects by guiding a thin catheter through blood vessels to the heart. At the Johns Hopkins All Childrens Heart Institute this procedure can often replace open-heart surgery leading to shorter recovery times and fewer surgeries over a patients lifetime. Most children can go home the same day or the next day and return to normal activities within a few days.
Qualifications:
BSN from an accredited School of Nursing preferred. Applicants with an Associate Degree in nursing will be considered and must obtain BSN within 36 months of hire
Registered Nurse (RN) Required. Florida State or Compact License required.
A minimum of 6 months of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse preferred 2 years of experience
Previous PICU experience preferred
BLS certification provided by AHA

Salary Range: Minimum 36.62/hour - Maximum 54.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
