Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Care Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports an IMCU/PCU unit caring for adult patients with neuro cardiac trauma respiratory post-op sepsis DKA MI COPD and CV stepdown needs.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for adult IMCU/PCU patients with intermediate-level acuity
Monitor neuro cardiac trauma respiratory sepsis DKA and post-op patients
Manage equipment such as temp pacers chest tubes A-lines BiPAP Neptune VapoTherm and chronic vents
Document patient care accurately using Epic
Float as required and collaborate with the care team to support safe outcomes
Requirements
active new york registered nurse license required
minimum 2 years of IMCU/PCU experience required
current aha bls acls and nihss certifications required
epic experience and previous travel experience required
updated resume skills checklist drivers license nursys report all rn license verifications and rto required at submission
