Registered Nurse Med/Surg ICU
Location: Pella Iowa
Pay Rate: $50.00 to $53.00/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Experience: Acute care nursing experience preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Pella Iowa. This role supports Med/Surg and ICU patient care in an acute care setting and requires strong clinical judgment teamwork and patient-centered nursing skills.
Responsibilities

Provide safe and effective nursing care to Med/Surg and ICU patients.

Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care needs.

Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams.

Communicate updates clearly with patients families and clinical staff.

Direct and support care provided by assigned support staff.

Apply critical thinking and sound nursing judgment during patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech.
-
Support continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements

Active Iowa Registered Nurse license required.

Graduate of an accredited RN program required.

BSN preferred.

BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.

ACLS certification required.

Acute care nursing experience preferred.

Med/Surg ICU pediatric mother/baby ortho or adult care experience preferred.

Basic computer skills required.

Strong communication teamwork and critical thinking skills required.
