Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Geriatric / Long Term Care
Location: Tucson Arizona
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:30 AM

Compensation
  • Pay Rate: $63/hr W2
Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality geriatric nursing care in a long-term care environment. The RN will deliver resident-focused care monitor patient conditions administer medications and treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and a safe therapeutic environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment excellent communication skills and experience working in geriatric or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor assess and document residents physical emotional and behavioral conditions
  • Perform nursing assessments and assist with development of MDS assessments and individualized care plans
  • Participate in shift reports and communicate resident needs with healthcare team members and families
  • Supervise nursing support staff and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards facility policies infection control and safety procedures
  • Respond appropriately during emergency situations and changes in resident condition
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary patient care planning
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program
Certifications & Licensure
  • Active RN License required
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification required
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required
Required Skills & Experience
  • Previous geriatric or long-term care experience preferred
  • Strong assessment communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to supervise staff and support interdisciplinary care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Additional Requirements
  • TB Test and Drug Screen required
  • COVID Vaccination Card required
  • Skills Checklist and Competency Testing required
  • Weekend availability required
  • Candidates must follow block booking schedule requirements:
    • One week: 36 hours
    • Following week: 48 hours
