Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Float Pool

Location: Cincinnati OH
Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule: Night Shift 3x12 hours (36 hrs/week)

Job Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a hospital Float Pool assignment. The RN will provide flexible high-quality patient care across multiple units based on staffing needs ensuring safe culturally competent and evidence-based nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments (physical psychological and social)

  • Identify actual and potential patient care needs and nursing diagnoses

  • Develop implement and update individualized care plans

  • Communicate effectively with physicians charge nurses and care teams using SBAR

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly

  • Provide direct patient care following hospital policies and evidence-based standards

  • Deliver patient and family education based on care plans

  • Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical judgment

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

  • Ensure patient safety infection control and quality standards are met

  • Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care coordination

Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred)

  • Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license

  • BLS certification (AHA required)

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-unit hospital environment

  • Experience providing age-specific and culturally competent care
