Job Description:
- The Registered Nurse implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.

- As a clinical nurse this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds assessments and treatments; facilitating admission transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable etc.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
- 2 years RN experience
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university or an Associates Degree with a minimum of ten (10) years experience lieu of a bachelors degree and less than ten years experience an Associate Degree in Nursing will be acceptable for initial hire with the understanding that the individual must be enrolled within 12 months in a bachelors degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
- Basic Life Support
- ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment
