Schedule: Day shift 6:30 AM 7:00 PM

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract opportunity in Utica New York. This role supports a high-acuity 64-bed Emergency Department caring for newborn pediatric adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate must have strong ED experience pediatric experience prior travel experience EPIC documentation skills and the ability to float as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care for newborn pediatric adult and geriatric patients
Manage high-acuity cases including stroke sepsis trauma MI cardiac arrest and respiratory failure
Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
Document assessments interventions and patient responses accurately using EPIC
Float as needed and collaborate with the interdisciplinary emergency care team
Requirements
Active New York RN License Required
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
AHA BLS/BCLS ACLS PALS NIHSS And TNCC Certifications Required
Must provide skills checklist drivers license NURSYS verification and RTO at submission
