Registered Nurse Endoscopy

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong procedural nursing experience and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the pre-procedure intra-procedure and recovery phases.

• Active RN License required
• BCLS Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

• Day Shift
• On-call required
• Approximately 46 call shifts within a 6-week schedule
• Weekend commitment only for assigned call coverage

Call Schedule:

• MondayFriday: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Saturday/Sunday:
  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM or
  • 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Endoscopy Procedures
• GI Procedural Nursing
• Patient Assessment and Monitoring
• Moderate Sedation Monitoring
• Pre-Procedure and Recovery Care
• IV Therapy
• Emergency Response
• Clinical Documentation

• Provide nursing care before during and after endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures
• Assess patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Educate patients regarding procedures and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
