Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Room (ER)

Unit: Emergency Department
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift Details:
- 36 hours per week
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holidays required
- Note: No RTO permitted during the week of July 4
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2800 (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills critical thinking and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care
- Maintain accurate timely and comprehensive patient documentation
- Perform ongoing patient assessments including physical psychological and social needs
- Develop and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when required
- Use computerized nursing informatics systems effectively
- Serve as a resource and mentor for staff including orientation and training support
- Participate in staff meetings mandatory training and quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and outcomes
- Adhere to safety protocols including infection control and blood/body fluid policies
- Maintain ongoing professional development and continuing education
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
- At least 1 year of travel ER RN experience
- Strong skills in IV administration IV starts ventilator care and telemetry monitoring
- Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams (as required by facility)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS
- TNCC
- ENPC
- PALS
- De-escalation Certification (preferred)
- Fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- High-acuity patient care
- Requires strong teamwork adaptability and clinical decision-making
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Strong emphasis on patient safety documentation accuracy and quality care delivery
