Registered Nurse (Emergency Room / ER)

Location: Hyannis Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Other Weekend Rotating Holidays

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a high-acuity emergency department assignment. The RN will provide fast-paced emergency care assess and stabilize patients administer treatments and support critical care interventions while maintaining excellent patient care standards.

Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent ER RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel experience
Active Massachusetts RN License required
Current BLS Certification required
Current ACLS Certification required
Strong IV therapy IV start and telemetry monitoring skills
Ability to pass Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
TNCC Certification preferred
ENPC Certification preferred
PALS Certification preferred
De-escalation certification training preferred
Ventilator care experience preferred
Charge nurse or leadership experience preferred

Key Responsibilities
Provide emergency nursing care using the nursing process
Assess patients physically psychologically and socially
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Perform IV insertion wound care and emergency interventions
Document all patient care accurately and timely
Assist in discharge planning and patient education
Support ancillary staff in patient care delivery
Function as charge nurse when required
Maintain compliance with hospital safety standards
Deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced ED environment
